Exotoxina

JIBTV | Full text | Vaccine based on a ubiquitous cysteinyl protease and streptococcal pyrogenic exotoxin A protects against Streptococcus pyogenes sepsis and toxic shock
The gram-positive bacterium Streptococcus pyogenes is a common pathogen of humans that causes invasive infections, toxic-shock syndrome, rheumatic fever, necrotizing fasciitis and other diseases. Detection of antibiotic resistance in clinical isolates has renewed interest in development of new vaccine approaches for control S. pyogenes sepsis. In the study presented, a novel protein vaccine was examined. The vaccine was based on a recombinant protein fusion between streptococcal pyrogenic exotoxin B (SpeB), a cysteinyl protease expressed by all clinical isolates, and streptococcal pyrogenic exotoxin A (SpeA), a superantigen produced by a large subset of isolates.

Expression and Activity Identification of Truncated Pseudomonas Exotoxin A in Escherichia Coli Archive - Cancer Research Center
Objective:Pseudomonas Exotoxin A (PE) is one of the pathogenic proteins that is secreted by Pseudomonas aeuriginosa. It helps the bacteria invade body tissues. PE is composed of a single peptide chain, and inhibits protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells and causes cell death. Since 1980s, several plant toxins and bacterial toxins have been coupled to antibodies and cytokines to make immunotoxins specific for surface properties in order to kill target cells specifically. These immunotoxins are now

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common pathogenic bacterium in Clinical infections. It is the top of burn infection bacteria, and one of the most frequently isolated from the trauma and compromised hosts, and the third most common cause of nosocomial infections, being surpassed by only staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. P. aeruginosa infections, once developing into species or inner organs, are of very high mortality. It is leading cause of death in the patients with severe burns, cystic fi

Background Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the pathogens of susceptible infection in immunological compromised patients including burn patients. It is most predominantly isolated from burn infection with high mortality rate due to its resistant to commonly used antibiotics. So far, more than ten toxic factors have been found, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa exotoxin A (PEA), lipopoly saccharide(LPS), extracellular enzyme 5, haemolysis substance, protease a
